Cottage - Vajat

Cottage - Vajat– adjacent building intended for accommodation, usually lodging, of the families of married male members. The number of cottages varied depending on the size of the family, i.e. the number of married couples. It was often the case that the cottages were furnished with only one bed for the whole family. As time passed and standards of living improved, crates for storage of clothes and a pole (lenka) over which the linen was hung, were becoming parts of more spacious interior of cottages.
